Note:
- A minimum of 15 registrants are required to start the class. Class may be postponed or cancelled if the requirement is not met. Registrants will be fully refunded if the class is cancelled. All students are expected to have their camera turned on.
- If any class is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, a make-up class will be arranged at the end of the term.
- To ensure proper class planning and preparation, all enrollment arrangements are finalized before the course begins. Refunds will not be available once the course has started. We appreciate your understanding.

42式太極拳|Hybrid 混合課程
A structured introduction to Taichi fundamentals through the internationally recognized 42 Form, taught step by step in a supportive learning environment.
Course Overview
The Taichi 42 Form is a complete, well-balanced routine that integrates essential elements from traditional Taichi styles into one continuous sequence. It is widely practiced internationally and provides a strong foundation for long-term Taichi training.
In this course, students will learn the form progressively, with emphasis on correct body alignment, coordination, relaxation, and continuity of movement.
This is a hybrid class, allowing students to attend in person or live online via Zoom, with class recordings available for review.
Who This Course Is For
This course is suitable for:
- Beginners with no prior Taichi experience, as well as students of all levels
- Students looking for a structured and methodical introduction to Taichi
- Students interested in improving balance, posture, and overall body coordination
- Those who appreciate a calm, focused learning environment

Movements are taught at an accessible pace, with appropriate modifications when needed.
Teaching Approach

Hybrid Class Format
In-Person
Students attending in person will train in a focused group setting at the SYL facility.
Please bring:
- Clean, thin-sole indoor shoes (or socks)
- Comfortable training clothing
- A water bottle
Live Online (Zoom)
Students may join the class live via Zoom. The Zoom link and passcode will be sent by Mailchimp email prior to the first class.
Class Recordings
- Each class will be recorded
- Recordings will be available for seven days
- Ideal for review or catching up if a class is missed
Many SYL students use recordings as an important part of their practice.
