Established in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1987, the SYL Wushu Taiji Qigong Institute (Mount Shu Wuji Xiao Yao Martial Arts System) has taught and promoted Chinese martial arts (Wushu), Tai Chi and Qigong to tens of thousands of people around the world and is a pioneer in the cultural exchange between the East and West. Our school and its students have been involved in countless national and international competitions and demonstrations. We are the home and host of many Chinese martial arts champions. All of our instructors have competition experience in both judging and competing (many having won numerous gold medals) and have been featured on television and in magazines.

In addition to producing superior athletes, our Mission is to inspire our students to become “well-rounded martial artists” and to promote health and wellness through ancient Oriental Arts. Through a broad program including both external and internal Chinese martial arts styles as well as Qigong practice, our students will possess a solid knowledge base in a wide range of martial disciplines. Training at the institute, they will also develop key virtues such as respect, humility, integrity, empathy, resilience, responsibility and perseverance. The institute aims at fostering the growth of our students physically, mentally and spiritually and continues to grow, research, and share the essence of Oriental Arts with the world.

梁守渝武術太極氣功學院（蜀山無極逍遙派）於1987年在加拿大卑詩省溫哥華市成立。學校致力於弘揚中華武術、太極和氣功等，自成立以來，教授了遍及全世界的數萬名學員，錄制了多個電視節目，並出版了多部書籍、專著和DVD，成為溝通中西文化的橋梁，以及在國際間傳播中華文化的先鋒者。

我們的學校是孕育武術人才的搖籃。建校40多年來，學校培養了無數武術菁英運動員，在全國和國際大賽中取得無數金（獎）牌，成績斐然。我們的許多學員和教練都曾是加拿大國家隊教練、運動員，各項國際大賽的總裁判、裁判長和裁判員，曾多次入選為雜誌封面人物或電視專訪人物。 

除了培養出優秀的武術運動員，我們更加致力於啟發我們的學員，在訓練的過程中沈浸於浩瀚博大的中華武術傳統文化中，從武術訓練中理解堅毅、勇猛、果敢、謙遜、正氣、博愛、不懈的品質，體會到習練武術的核心價值在於講究武徳、尊師重道、練武修心，最終從一名武術運動員上升到成為一名內外兼修、品質高尚的武術家。本校始終以弘揚武術為己任，不忘初心地與全世界的武術愛好者共同分享我們的中華武術之美！
