Join us for an immersive 4-day summer intensive dedicated entirely to Chen Style Tai Chi 56. By focusing exclusively on one system throughout all four mornings, this workshop offers participants the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of Chen Style’s unique principles, movement quality, and internal power.

This workshop is open to all levels. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner, you will find a path to growth here. With two instructors present, we provide personalized guidance for everyone—supporting newcomers through the foundations while helping experienced practitioners refine their technique, body mechanics, and internal awareness.

Workshop Structure

  • 4 mornings (3 hours each) — 12 hours of immersive training
  • All four mornings: Chen Style Tai Chi 56
  • Open to all levels — No prior experience required

  • Silk Reeling Energy (Chansigong): Develop the continuous spiraling movement that forms the foundation of Chen Style Tai Chi.
  • Body Mechanics & Structure: Improve alignment, relaxation, balance, rooting, and coordinated whole-body movement.
  • Fajin (Explosive Power): Learn how Chen Style generates power efficiently through proper body connection rather than muscular force.
  • Applications & Principles: Gain a deeper understanding of how each movement is performed and the internal principles behind the form.
