Traditional Yang Style Taiji is one of the most popular and widely practiced style in the world today. Depending on the ways of counting the number of movements in the form, it is known as Yang Style Taichi 85, 103, or 108. This form is known for its soft and graceful movements. It is practiced most often for its calming and meditative effect. The movements in the form are sequenced in an order from simple to medium to high difficulty. Practice of the form trains a practitioner’s strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. The form is very graceful, gentle, calming, safe to practice. It takes approximately 25 min to complete the entire routine.
In this workshop, we will be the starting the form from the beginning. No prerequisite requirement.
